Description
This is a little tool/ script I made which allows you to get some useful info about static entities (buildings/ props) placed around the map. For any building/ prop that is defined as a static placement, it will show you the model name as well as the name of the base .ymap file where it is defined. Simply move the camera around, and information will be shown over objects as they come in view. You can view even more information about an object by using the built in console interface with the commands listed below.
My hope is that this will ease the process of working with in-game objects via OpenIV, especially for people working hard on map- related mods. Because afaik there is no standard process for finding this kind of information about objects around the world.
There are some options that can be customized in the .ini file including the search radius for objects/ buildings and max amount of objects infos that will be drawn on the screen. These settings could be useful if you are experience performance problems. Naturally there is some hit to performance, due to the sheer amount of objects that exist in the world.
Other info
The type of an object can be determined by the color of the label. For buildings/ static objects, it will be red. For props it is gold. This can be changed in the config file.
As always, let me know of any bugs/ problems, and offer suggestions for how the mod can be improved! Thanks :D

Select/ Enter Editor - Left mouse

Speed boost - Left shift

I think the mod is broken with the most recent update, whenever I click the Y key the game instantly crashes. :)

@stuffedbutter how do fix it ?
It hasn't been working for me. Whenever I press Y, the camera slightly zooms in to whatever character I'm playing as, then nothing else happens. Any idea what could be causing this?
hmmm SHVDN v2.10.5 and GTA V 1.41 > with v1.14 instant crash when pressing 'Y' yet v1.13 seems to work :D

Not working anymore, unfortunately. Nothing happens when I press 'Y'
@InfamousSabre Try starting the mod in a different part of the map. The mod seems to crash intermittently when you switch to the camera in an area with too many objects.
@CamxxCore Does this work on the lastest game patch? I have it installed, removed other plugins and scripts, yet my game crashes when I press "Y". Tried looking for your previous tips and have moved to more secluded areas and whatnot. Still to no avail.
Ye i got the same issue, i tried 1.14 and 1.13, now ima try 1.12
nvm it works, you just gotta go to a different place then where you spawn!

Hello. I got it to work on the current GTA version by downgrading gtavdotnet to like a 2018 version. However, how can you enable finding objects for pedestrians and vehicles? Thank you.
