Welcome and thank you all for coming. With this mod, you can make Los Santos and its surrounding wilderness seem much more alive. Replace those bland low resolution plants and trees, with our new fresh ones. I hope you enjoy all the time spent going through each and every file. This mod is only recommended for high end machines. I tested this mod at 1440P with all ultra/high settings without MSAA. Be sure to set grass quality to high/very high setting.
The 4K Vegetation Pack comes with 5 replacement .rpf files. Be sure to BACK UP all the files mentioned below.

If you have an FPS problem, then please try to lower other settings a tad bit. If all that does not work, then just install the v_proc1 if you have a big drop in fps. This mod was not intended to be easy run, I will make an easier to run version without all the big almost 6000x6000 textures in the future. One user of this mod reported that he suffered from severe FPS drops, so please try to only use v_proc1 and one other file to lessen the load. This mod relies on vram, so if you have a vram bus(384bit or higher) and 2/3/4GB vram memory then feel free to try and run them all.Changed title since GPUs read the textures at a max of 4096x4096, and anything over that gets downsampled as an extra step.

To all those that are about to replace everything, just replace one at a time. This mod will kill FPS if you use everything at one, for now there is no light version. The textures provided are not the same size they were at all, they are all modified, and will put alot of load on your VRAM when all loaded at one. With that being said, try the main file which is v_proc1 only if you'd like to get a feel for the mod. Thanks guys for viewing!
@Weirdoutworld I experienced the same type of pop in. Buildings were popping in and out. Good thing for backups right. I agree, great mod though. I'm thinking I'll test the files one by one later.

Can I just use the grass from your mod? what will be the exact file do I need to replace for only grass texture?

oki find, for all people who have NVE, don't darg and drop files from "4k vegetation" on "x64i.rpf", its useless, go to "\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\NVE\dlc.rpf\x64" and drop files, and after, go to content.xml of "\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\NVE\dlc.rpf\" and delete all text and paste this <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

i forgot, delete all files from meta.rpf in nve folder, i don't know why but it make trees low quality

the textures actually look nice but uses a lot of vram
