French Riviera is a port of GTA IV's map made by nine30.

Changelog:
GTA 5 Legacy (Story Mode) Hotfix 1 version added. It fixes collision issues and improves the loading of traffic path nodes, albeit is optional because of game limits for this version as well as the fact it causes game crashes in some locations.
FiveM Legacy version added, version 1.0.
GTA 5 Enhanced version added, first version of the mod for this game. Limited and not all map is loading because otherwise the game crashes (potentially for raytracing feature limits and some objects in the mod exceeding them).
Map was converted using Autodesk 3ds Max 2012, CodeWalker and OpenMapTools - by dexyfex and OpenIV - by GooDNTS
This build contains some new remastered features from original IV like better shaders for roads, vegetation, traffic, parked flyable planes, props.
To install, input the files according to folder name and their relative paths using OpenIV. To install Hotfix (1.1) for GTA 5 Legacy (Story Mode), make sure you first install the base 1.0 mod version.
GTA 5 Enhanced 1.0 version of the mod is installed by using CodeWalker version beta 48, and in addition it is advised to install the following, as the mod is a map addon:

@GrandTurkAuto I do not see this RPF file in the installation, so I am unsure where you found it. Collisions were not working on recent versions up until after the updated metadata when they began working again.
If it wasn't clear already, new hotfix update for Legacy isn't standalone. You should first install the old mod version, and then the new hotfix update over it. Also make sure you are working with the right mod versions, Enhanced won't work on Legacy and vice versa.

Trying to make it work on Natural Vision and its crashing the moment i add content into the gta5.meta file, no optionals installed. Anyone made it work on NVE?

first i following your instruction and the game crash after launched "corrupt game data err_sys_fileload"
i modifiy your content.xml in update 1.1 to run your game because i found many file unkown
when i go to frenchrivera there are many colision invisible and prop spawn before the map
so plz take a look at your update 1.1 and check the file inside the content because i don't think in gta v orginal file there are a file named gta4prop5 de noviembre de 2025 -
@wissgt No, there are no gta4prop files in GTA 5, but this mod came from GTA IV originally, so it is supposed to have some GTA IV props in it, therefore it's normal that it's there.

@EncryptedReality, Well hello there, and also I have this issue where there is corrupt game data within my game and I have everything updated to the latest version and followed all your instructions, Only thing i didnt do is put your gameconfig of 61kb. Is that optional or need to put it to fix the error?

@locus45 Hi, I suggest you don't use any other mods with this when you're first testing it out, later you may try experimenting to see what works and what doesn't. If gameconfig, dlclist XML files get corrupted, they may cause a error as you're describing because the game wouldn't be able to find and load the data correctly causing corruption.
Best what you can try doing is start over, rename mods folder to something else, like e.g. "modsold" and then manually installing everything from scratch, carefully adding and replacing files as instructed, so that nothing is missing or misplaced.

@adinhoa Since the mod has officially been taken down, I never had a chance to try it out in way where it wouldn't imply risk. I think thought that it could potentially work, with concern emphasis on custom script the mod used, as I've seen it would load and unload original V map based on where player is located at any time.

@palamudin It should work on both NVE (NaturalVision Evolved - V Legacy and NaturalVision Enhacned - V Enhanced), evidence of it working is my video footage and ingame screenshots posted here. If on Enhanced, you don't install the mod into "onigiri" folder, instead you should install it into a separate mods folder with Los Santos Multiplayer Team's made OpenRPF script running it all. On Legacy, the situation gets more vague and I cannot give you a better estimate without looking closer into your game setup to troubleshoot.

Hey, in this mod we can actually see that paname (paris) is being worked on, is it still up or has it been scrapped for a long time (maybe even scrapped since gta4)? it would be interesting to see paris in gta5, some already tried but we dont have any access to the mods. vzry good mod btw ggs to nine and his team

Moi, mon problème, est depuis toujours le manque de trafic. Le trafic ne spawn pas. Je ne sais pas pourquoi. J'ai verifié via codewalker et les nodes sont bien présents.
