UPDATE:
~1.0 Added "Sandy Shores Base Extended Civ" as an option. This adds a few pedestrians to do certain animations by the tents, tables, etc. to make the base more populated. This is probably going to be the FINAL update but if you'd benefit from a populated version of "Sandy Shores Base Stripped" or "Sandy Shores Base" leave a comment and I'll add a new version. Other than that, thanks for the positive feedback on my first mod! I'm currently learning some code and have plans of creating my own scripts so hopefully something will come out of that soon enough.
~0.9 Added "Sandy Shores Base Stripped" as an option. This removes the outer barbed wire fencing from the entire base of the Extended version to greatly increase performance by decreasing the prop count from 248 to a massively reduced 158 (roughly). Only downside to this version is that the fencing doesn't look quite as good, but this version is all about improving performance.
~0.8 Added "Sandy Shores Base Extended" as an option. This adds a few extra areas which the base surrounds and fixes a few glitchy spots I found in the original. WARNING: This makes the map come very close to the prop limit, meaning it is prone to crashes unless you change the object draw distance settings in the Map Editor's settings (for me it works at 200). Not recommended for lower end PCs. Enjoy! (Type "Sandy Shores Base Extended" without the quotation marks to load this version.)
~0.7 Fixed an issue where the file was not appearing as a .xml file
Quick disclaimer, this is my first map mod! So please do keep that in mind since this also means that if you have a problem with the map, there's a pretty high chance I will not know how to fix it, but nonetheless, I'll do my best to help out!
This is a small map created within the "Map Editor" by Guadmaz
The camp is located within Sandy Shores. It has 2 entrances, both of which can be accessed by most all vehicles, as long as they're not too large. There are staircases located around the camp to give you access to the top of the containers surrounding the base, giving you a vantage point from which to shoot from. I recommend you use this with the "Enhanced Native Trainer" since this allows you to remove traffic + pedestrians if you're going for the maps intended use of being a post-apocalyptic camp.
There may be more updates to this map, if I feel it's necessary or if you'd like to see something fixed/added.
TO INSTALL THE FILE:
~You will need the previously mentioned Map Editor which can be found here: https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/map-editor
~Extract the file inside the .rar package into your Grand Theft Auto V folder
NOTE: It may need to be placed into your scripts folder, I'm not entirely sure, so let me know if the previous method worked for you!
~Once in-game, head over to the "Map Editor" menu, select the option "Load Map" and type "Sandy Shores Base" for the default option, "Sandy Shores Base Extended" for the extended version "Sandy Shores Base Extended Civ" for the more populated version, " Sandy Shores Base Stripped" for a stripped down version (no longer as necessary after recent updates on the Map Editor. All are without the quotation marks.

If you experience any problems with the installation or anything else I'll do my best to help, enjoy!

@HeySlickThatsMe Thanks, glad you like it!
Perfect for the zombie apocalypse
@AwesomeBomber Well done & keep up the good work!
Omg, nice mod, I was wondering if I can help work on it, scripting wise, like add soldiers guarding it, NPCs inside doing something random like smoking, etc.
@jedijosh920 That'd be great! Feel free to make any changes you want, was already considering creating a "Sandy Shores Base w/ Guards" version so if you could do that it'd be really appreciated. Let me know if you need anything!
If there are any problems with the new version (0.7) let me know and I'll see what I can do to help!
oh my god :o this will be awesome with a good zombie mod :o
@AwesomeBomber can you please tell me how to make bases like this with guards :) im thinking about making a apocalypse map
@Cenry_Aido You download the "Map Editor" by Guadmaz which can be found here: https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/map-editor and follow the instalation instructions it has to make sure you get everything working properly. Then press F7 in-game and start creating! :) One thing I should add however is that the peds that you can spawn from the mod itself don't do anything they just, stand there. So if you're looking for armed guards I'm not quite sure how you'd go about doing that but good luck nonetheless.
@AwesomeBomber Thanks man :)
can you make a version with peds ?
@kratos00 I could, but they wouldn't be able to move since I'm not good enough at programming to do anything like that. For the time being though, the area in which the base is located actually has chairs in the middle in which a few civilians come and hang out from time to time, giving the illusion that the camp has been populated :)
@AwesomeBomber ok so i was wondering if you would be able to script this mode instead so that you could make automated gate entrances
@iLLuzion86 As much as I'd love to do that, the only programming knowledge I have is extremely basic stuff in C++, I even struggle with that. So sadly I doubt I could add anything like that, sorry :/
@AwesomeBomber OK thats kool, it is unfortunate but i guess you can only do what you can and i appreciate that. anyways amazing mod bro, keep up the good work.
like the idea, now we need a survival mod, like dayzV ^^ xd
@AwesomeBomber Hi, cool mod, do you have any idea of conflicts when using mod manager and openiv ? I have quite some mods installed and dont want to scew my setup that why iam asking.
modmanger, openiv, simple trainer and enb i have a mod folder and will creste a mod folder for mapeditor and your mod is that gone work??
THX
@nieda113 Well, my mod has to be placed in the main GTA V directory, where the .exe's are but by no means will it cause problems with your current mods. However, I'm not fully aware of what conflicts with the Map Editor, you'd have to ask Guadmaz about that :)
You should use the "puzzle bodys" as like dead survivors. if this is a zombie apoc base.
nice mod dude!
