Information:
This is a very little mod which changes the bus led sign 'DOWNTOWN' to 'NOT IN SERVICE'.
I don't like seeing every bus heading to 'DOWNTOWN' although they aren't stopping at bus stops or people getting on/off the bus. So I made this, so it's a little bit more realistic, that no people get on/off and it doesn't stop at bus stops.
Update: Changed the font type and added another version (darkred background) as well as a template.
IMPORTANT:
Don't use this in GTA Online or you could be banned. I'm not responsible for any bans you get for using this online!
Always back up your files before editing. I'm not responsible for any damage to your files!
Installation:
1) Use Open IV for installation (Use Edit Mode):
2) Go to ...\Grand Theft Auto V\(mods)\x64e.rpf\gta5\vehicles.rpf
3) Open bus.ytd
4) Replace 'metro_bus_ledsign' with the one you like
5) (Rebuild)
It's recommended to use a mods folder, more information at Open IV.

Is it possible that you can add your own text? Like could you make a photoshop template or something where you can change the words?
@Privy you could edit the metro_bus_sign.png file, but i updated it anyway, so i added a template

@iTzKevinFTW You can open it in any image editing software (paint.net, photoshop, photofiltre, ...) and add a new textlayer. Then you save it as an .png-file and you can use it in open iv. For editing the original one you just go in edit mode in open iv, open the .ytd file and extract the file you want to edit to any folder (e.g. desktop)
@Halo23 I edit textures all the time but for some reason with the Bus's..whenever i click "replace" on the .ytd file and replace the texture with my rendition - it doesn't overwrite it.
@bizzlezx10r after replacing the file and saving the ytd file, does the changed texture show up at the yft file? If it does, but it doesn't appear ingame your gta may redownload edited files before starting. If that's the case you should use the open IV mods folder and the openIV.asi file to avoid that. If you are already using that or the texture isn't changed in the yft file (you may need to open it twice), i don't know why it doesn't work :/
I use Open IV but after doing some more research - this happens when the author locks their files.

Basically, some authors lock their files so when people try to edit them they don't work. I'm not saying that yours don't work i was just asking to see if you knew why this happened sometimes.
