Freemode Wallet
This mod gives your freemode (multiplayer) character a real, spendable wallet in story mode - earn the true value of collected cash and street pickups, then spend it in shops, all while you still look freemode.
A freemode character has no story-mode cash of its own: the game resolves shop spending from your character model, so a freemode ped can't open most shops and earns nothing from pickups. Freemode Wallet fills that gap with its own balance and bridges it into the game only when you ask.
How it works
Everything is opt-in: with the wallet off (or spoofing released) the mod is passive and the game behaves normally. It never engages on a genuine story protagonist, and it waits for the world to settle on load so it coexists with mods that set your character (e.g. Appearance Keeper applies your look first, then the spoof engages on top).
Compatibility with other script mods
Because earning hooks the game's own player-money system, it should work with most script mods that pay you - any reward they add to your money is captured by the wallet (while spoofing is on). Tested with Casual Jobs - Rabbit Holes; other job/reward mods should work the same way.
Mod data location
The mod stores its data (balance, FreemodeWallet.ini and logs) in %APPDATA%\GTA V Mods\KernelPryanic\FreemodeWallet instead of the game folder. This is required on GTA V Enhanced, where the game locks every file inside the game directory for the whole session.

How it works
Earning - reads each collected money pickup's real value and credits your wallet. It also captures script payouts - rewards paid through the game's player-money system - while spoofing is on. While spoofing, ATMs read the same cash stat the wallet shadows, so they show your balance too.
Spoofing - makes your freemode ped read as a story protagonist (Michael, Franklin or Trevor) so shops open and money resolves. Your body still renders freemode; it's a toggle that persists across sessions and auto-releases on a model change.
Spending - while spoofing, a small companion plugin redirects the shop's charge to your freemode wallet. The protagonist's real cash is never touched - the shop just charges you instead.

Known limitations
- Spending and script payouts need spoofing on - they work only while you're holding a protagonist identity (the only time a shop opens and the cash stat can be redirected). Pickup earning works either way.
- The .asi plugin is required for spending - without it the wallet still earns and persists, but shops charge nothing.
- Spoofing is a deliberate opt-in and never engages on a real protagonist, so it can't hijack story money - leaving it off keeps a genuine protagonist's wallet untouched.
- The pause-menu HUD shows the spoofed protagonist's name, not a wallet label.
Changelog
0.2.0
Fixed a purchase that empties your wallet to exactly $0 being silently ignored - paying for something that costs your whole balance now deducts correctly.
Added a configurable log level in FreemodeWallet.ini ([Logging] Level = Info | Debug | Error, default Info) for easier troubleshooting - no reinstall needed to change it.
Improved spoofing safety: the identity is released automatically if your character is swapped mid-play, and the Spoofing options are greyed out (with a heads-up if you try) while you're playing as a real story protagonist - so it can never hijack story money.
Fixed the menu key opening a second menu on top when pressed inside the Spoofing submenu; it now closes whichever menu is open.
Fixed spending not being re-armed after an in-session script reload.- Tidied the menu toggle labels to a consistent "Enabled" form.
0.1.0
- Initial release - a spendable wallet for your freemode character: earn from cash pickups and script payouts, spend in shops via a protagonist identity spoof, with a persistent balance and configurable menu.

is this only on enhanced? (if so could we get a legacy version?)
I am honestly surprised it took this long for a mod like this to come out lol
The creator is incredibly fast at making mods—especially one like this, which the community has been clamoring for regarding multiplayer characters. Fantastic.
fantastic mod! can you add load addonped skin at game start as an option?
why when buying guns the very top right of the screen still show trevor's money account but don't decrease ?
