Description
Extremely simple script. With this, you can fully heal yourself by leaning against any wall (that is, being in cover).
Why the hell do you code something as simple as this you're the cancer thats killing modding
Bah.
As this is a really simple script, the sourcecode is in the download. I hope anyone getting started in scripting for GTAV finds it useful.
The script its less that 30 lines long and can help beginners understand how to deal with in-real-time conditions, such as "when the player is in cover".
The script has been coded in Visual Studio Community 2015.
REQUIREMENTS
.NET Framework 4.5.2
Visual C++ 2015
ScriptHookV
ScriptHookVDotNet
How to install
Extract HealByLeaningOnWall.dll into /Grand Theft Auto V/scripts/.
Don't put the sourcecode file on /Grand Theft Auto V/scripts/ or the game will load it too, resulting in the script being ran twice. However, you if you only place the sourcecode in that scripts folder, you can edit it freely and the changes done to the file will be loaded next time ScriptHookVDotNet is reloaded, or you load a save. Still, I suggest you use Visual Studio to edit scripts.

Lol. This MOD's nice. Easy, beginner's MOD but awesome! Learnt a lesson, "It's not about how difficult it is to create the mod but the idea of it". Really like the idea about health increasing in cover
Is it possible to make the health increase to 50% but faster and yeah, add a sourcecode for that too.
Because I think conflict will become real easy since health is increasing to 100 while a shootout
Nice!
@Eddlm AHHHHH was looking for this
any reason this would cause the prison mod too kill the police driver while pressing e?...
nvm think i fixed think it was this and another script were running same arg so put them both in 1 script and seemed to have fixed :)
@Eddlm
Love this mod, nice job! Is there any possible way where you could adjust how fast and how much your health bar goes up??
hey can you make it heal me when I'm just standing still? and if not, just make me automatically heal to 3/4 hp
Just like the good ol' Getaway :))
@Eddlm Hey, I know this mod is...a year old, but I see you're still active on the site and was hoping for clarification on a comment you made. Someone asked for a mod that disables health regeneration, and your reply was "Literally SET_PLAYER_HEALTH_RECHARGE_MULTIPLIER". Can you explain what exactly you mean by that? Where would I find or add that line of text? I found another mod that's supposed to remove health regeneration, but it doesn't seem to work for me, so I'd really like some help on getting that working.
@Jaygold @Jaygold Because its one native and that's it. Here's the code, open it and you'll see what I meant: https://puu.sh/teH9t.zip
If you put it in your scripts folder, it should stop the player from regenerating. Haven't tested it, if it doesn't work I can patch something better when I have free time.
@Eddlm Thanks, but I'm having the same weird results I get with the other mod. Health regeneration sometimes is disabled, but after a while, it'll enable itself again. I'm not sure if doing something in the game triggers that or if it's interfering with some other mod I have or what.
Okay, I figured out the cause, but not the solution. After disabling health regeneration, it seems to come back after I switch characters.
Useful thing for us with increased dispatch.
This is like in The Getaway!
how is this mod cancer? lmao

Time to play legit... no trainer needed! ;P
@Jaygold hit insert (INS) to reload the mod when you switch characters
Does what it says on the tin. Thanks!
