Remember InfamousSabre's Pickups mod? Unfortunately his mod does not support the latest DLC weapons so I tried continuing his work.
+ Updating 26 DLC weapons and their bullet speeds up to GTA V 1.70.
+ Customized number of slots: 8 slots and 4 slots
+ Python script to merge all weapon-.meta to one file and all pickups.meta to one file --> Simplify updating, customizing and install/uninstall-ing.
+ Supplementary resources for custom scripting
Installation
+ REQUIRED: Pickups 2.2 by InfamousSabre. I only update the new weapons, which WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT HIS MOD (AND BREAK YOUR GAME).
+ Backup your two files: `GTA V/mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/ai/weapons.meta` and `GTA V/mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/pickups.meta`
+ Download Pickups 2.2 by InfamousSabre. DO NOT INSTALL THROUGH OPENIV BUT EXTRACT AS ARCHIVE.
+ Move the folder `Pickups` and the files `Pickups.asi`, `Pickups.ini` to GTA V folder
+ DO NOT INSTALL ANYTHING ELSE FROM PICKUPS. Now we move on to my update.
+ Extract my Support for InfamousSabre's Pickups mod
+ Move the folder `./composed/mod/Pickups` to `GTA V/Pickups`
+ Move `./composed/mod/pickups.meta` to `./mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/pickups.meta`
+ Move `./composed/mod/weapons.meta` to `./mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/ai/weapons.meta`
+ Optional 4 slots: move the files `pickups.xml` and `slots.xml` from `./composed/optional-4-slots` to `GTA V/Pickups`.
Uninstallation
+ Delete `Pickups/`, `Pickups.asi`, `Pickups.ini`
+ Recover your previously backed-up: `./mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/ai/weapons.meta` and `./mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/pickups.meta`

How do I turn off the visible weapons on the players back?
@votrinhan88 how do I get my original damage engine.after applying this npcs takes 10 to 20 headshots to die what can I do ?

Is it possible for me to get a tutorial on what you put in the weapons.metas? I want to install this mod but I have mods changing stuff in the weapons.meta
Mk2 weapons take 3 headshots to kill. How do I Fix it?
I would recommend users to install only the scripts, as there are some things that ruin this mod such as damage and disabling ragdolls when an npc takes damage. Just open the oiv with winrar and install only the scripts and .asi
The mod is updated to current GTA V 1.70 - But it is highly beta. I haven't tested it thoroughly. The good thing is that it is much easier to install/uninstall now.
I will fix potential bugs in the next few days. :)
Hey I think it's working! But let me know if there's any bug - I only tested on GTA V 1.69.
Also the installation have changed. Please carefully follow the readme in the archive instead of this Description page. Not doing so MAY BREAK YOUR GAME and there's NO UNINSTALL OIV PACKAGE.

@f0xtr0t888 If the mod is not up-to-date, remove all your current weapons and don't use new weapons from unsupported DLC - Then you won't have automatically picking up :).
@petriakosz No and No unfortunately, it's part of the original Pickups mod and I cannot change that.
@DandelionScalion My new update only deals with one weapons.meta file and one pickups.meta file - So it's much more easier to install/uninstall now. Give it a try!
@1199 Weapons from unsupported DLC won't be available. Just play without them - You'll have to wait for my update or try fixing it yourself though
@OO2Stormzy Sorry I could not change that behavior, it's from the original Pickups mod
@Brambo25 I don't think it's bugging because of the 6-slot setup. Anyway, can you generously share the config for the 6-slot setup? I will update it to the mods for others to use.

@coolid Sorry it is the default behavior of the original mod and I cannot change that. But, that's the spirit of the mod: Pickups. If you pick something up you have to forgo something else.
@GlitchedGiant I change FireType, AmmoInfo, Speed in each weapon. Please see the Python script main.ipynb and presets in resources/weapons.py for more details.

The version 1.70.beta is facing a problem on missing ammos. The hot fix 1.70.1 is pending and will be available soon!
Some attachments are broken; for example, some attachments on a gun are either missing or positioned incorrectly, such as being outside the gun. Additionally, some weapon sights clip inside the gun, and certain weapons still lack ammunition. But all in all I can see the potential the mod just needs a bit of fixing.
How to accurately determine where the set coordinate data is located when adjusting the position of the weapon on the player's body
@GlitchedGiant can you tell me specifically which weapons still have ammo issues? About the attachments problem, I don't think I'll be able to fix it because it requires editing the Pickups.asi file
@JoyLucien Please see Dev Note.xlxs, sheet XYZ Vector, for the xyz coordinates (w.r.t to player). You will have to iteratively edit the Pickups.xml and refresh SHVDN to load new positions :)
