Texture Editing Template Pack
For those interested in texture modding, here is the template for the car decals. More templates will be added as time passes, I saw none of these on the internet and knew that its a key item for modders and those interested in creating their own textures.
THOSE WHO ARE INTERESTED IN SUBMITTING THEIR TEMPLATES, COMMENT A LINK OF THE DOWNLOAD. PSD'S ONLY. CORRECT CREDITS WILL BE GIVEN.

Installation: Open as PSD, save as .DDS - For those who do not know how to export as .dds from Photoshop, then you need to download Nvidia texture tools from here: https://developer.nvidia.com/nvidia-texture-tools-adobe-photoshop to export. You can use Texture Tool Kit to put the .dds file back into the ytd.

I have temporarily discontinued this project, although If you would like to add your template, feel free to link it in the comments and I'll add it, correct credits will be given. Only requirements is it must be a .PSD file. Enjoy these templates and go make some good looking textures for the cars.

I have several modded cars I alter and being able to know how to do this would speed up the process greatly!
@Mercurial awesome work bro and keep up the good work I was wondering can you get all the vehicles with the liveries and paint jobs? like the new DLC"S and like the sultan RS wide body I also like the outlining of where to put the livery/paint job can you make more like this one the has the lines on them to show where it goes and where its separated thanks and keep up the awesome work.
Why is it that when I try to import a new DDS file which follows the same format as the old one, and the same name, it doesn't work? Even when I import the original DDS file back into the .ytd file, it still doesn't work. I cannot seem to alter the .ytd file without it not working. When I say "not working", i mean I am editing the main skin for bus, but it just appears blank, with no texture.

Can You Do A wesapon Texture?
Can other templates be easily extracted from the game and edited or do you really have to know what you're doing to get it right? I want to edit helicopter templates for LA-based news media choppers.

@bigmike16 you can't. You can find a mod menu for xbox, but things like this is not possible to transfer

@JasperDePanda this is a 100% Free substitute for Photoshop, not as advanced and easy as Photoshop but still works good - www.getpaint.net | Notice - You will see a paid version, don't go for that one unless you're willing too!
