@r0sster
You shouldn't need to. It should all just be replacing text. But I'll double check later to make sure the fix still works.
Just a heads up for anybody having trouble getting tuning to work. This is my Fix, I can't guarantee it'll work for you, but it's worth a shot.
as tk0wns mentioned be sure to edit the carcols meta to give it a unique ID (in my case 995). However there's also a section of the carvariations you'll need to edit to match that.
So the first few lines in your carcols for the gauntlet should look like this.
<Item>
<kitName>995_gauntlet_modkit</kitName>
<id value="995" />
and your carvariations should have a section that looks like this to match it.
<kits>
<Item>995_gauntlet_modkit</Item>
</kits>
As a final note I did not need to replace to carvariations file in the x64a folder. I just replaced it in update.rpf>x64>data
@Foxunitone Luckily it looks like the newest update has fixed it for now. Much more stable. Great update btw!
Just curious if Anyone has had an issue where after this mod is installed your game will crash if you switch characters? I'm looking for a fix but no luck yet.
I can chime in and confirm I can get the props to load but not the trains, If you want i can send you my mod fires, maybe we can see a recurring mod that could be causing the issue.
@Foxunitone That makes sense I'll try to go in and apply the changes tonight, I'll be sure to let you know if that fixes it. Thanks for replying.
Great mod and excellent model. Hopefully a woodland camo and a model with LP crows will be a reality one day.
Great mod, but I'm having an issue that hope full you can help me with. When I just replace the engine it works fine no issues whatsoever; however, when I use this with the Improved trains mod the textures suddenly get all kinds of messed up. Do you know what might be causing this issue, and what a fix could be?
