Update to my previous comment: When the game crashes an error message box comes up that says "CORE: An exception occurred while executing 'ShoulderCam.asi' (0x00007FFBE22BA2F0), id 35"
To get this to work follow the main instructions then also follow mine:
Place the penumbra.yft, penumbra_hi.yft, penumbra.ytd, and penumbra+hi.ytd files in this location:

Then place penumbra_mods.rpf in this location:

Doesn't work anymore with the latest game update 😭 the game crashes when aiming.
Textures are working for me now.

The textures are a little messed up for me on the head/tail lights, the wheel rims, and when I change the hood. Probably in other places too.
