@Comet0510 Your question does not make sense, and the answer of course is no. If you follow the Official BTTFV Installation Tutorial (video is in the gallery above) you'll find that BTTFV 2.3.2 works perfectly fine on the current version of GTAV. Just make sure you turn off BattlEye before entering single player.
@gtavjamal Unfortunately there aren't really any modelers left on the team who are willing to work on the car. We had one dude who literally randomly showed up one day and fixed a ton of accuracy issues with the car itself (mismatched color between hood and fenders, incorrect flux band model, incorrect flux capacitor interior detail, incorrect LOD1, incorrect dirt model, rear wheels on one side were offset a little further inside than the other side, etc etc etc etc) then vanished. But they weren't actually a part of the team officially (though I wish they were!!).
So if you're willing to help out, then by all means. However, note that BTTFV as a general rule does not include functions that -require- another unrelated mod in order to work. That said there is SO MUCH WRONG with our DMC-12 model even after that other dude came in and fixed a bunch of things, especially with the interior. So I mean, if you're offering, we're not going to say no. But it'll be way harder to collaborate without a way to communicate faster, and we all use a Discord server, so...yeah.
@gtavjamal There is an error in BTTFV 2.0~2.3.2 regarding the hover wheels (the offsets are wrong) which is fixed for the next version. But if you think there's an animation error, that I'm just not seeing. The 1.1F video you showed has the guy already moving at high speed before transforming. The 2.3.2 video doesn't even show our DeLorean (it's a beta feature specific to the Deluxo, not the DMC-12).
In any case, I can't figure out what you're trying to explain. I don't recall why you weren't going to join the Discord but I'm going to recommend it again anyway. It would probably be easier to figure it out if we had the ability to discuss your concern in real-time.
I'm not saying there isn't a difference, mind you--I just can't tell what you're actually complaining about. I don't see it.
As a further note, you'll get way, way faster support if you just join our Discord and ask for support in the #support channel. You've been posting in the comments section here for several days when all your questions and issues could've been resolved in mere hours and without all the guesswork. Highly recommended.
@happysquidbob It's common because it means someone screwed up installing BTTFV. Of course if you mess up the install, the menu isn't going to happen. What's likely happening to you now is that if you press F4 to bring up the SHVDN console, you'll see an error that reads:
System.Exception: dmc12_rpm_needle not present!
This is because you did the install incorrectly. If you used our installer, note that it contains a gameconfig for version 2944 of GTAV (because on our Discord you will find instructions on how to downgrade to 2944). If you want to use 3095, then after following the installation, you will need to install a gameconfig for version 3095. For example: https://github.com/pnwparksfan/gameconfig/releases/tag/v3095
@happysquidbob That has nothing to do with the problem. Your problem is most likely going to be that you're on a newer game version than 1.0.3179.0. Every version after that causes ScriptHookVDotNet (which BTTFV relies on) to crash the game. It's not BTTFV's fault.
Either downgrade to 3179 or older, or experiment with ScriptHookVDotNet Nightly.
@happysquidbob The vehicles in BTTFV are not just "dumb" vehicle mods like a bunch of addon vehicles are. There are components and even entire portions of the model itself that are directly controlled by the script. So no, the script is necessary for the vehicles to work correctly.
@SlavicBALLER @Venom_M As I already told Darkneumann above both of you, the problem is not BTTFV, it is SHVDN. Either use SHVDN Nightly or downgrade your game.
@Darkneumann As I already told you, the problem is with ScriptHookVDotNet. Downgrading is always an option. If you bought your game on Steam, there are plenty of guides on how to downgrade. If you did not buy your game from Steam and you did not back up your files before the June 25 update hit, you are screwed.
@Darkneumann No you cannot fly with the train, and the issue is with ScriptHookVDotNet, not BTTFV.
