This handling mod is ment to be used while driving in FPS mode !!!
What does this mod bring new to the game?
- reworked suspensions to simulate the car's feeling on the road
- reworked breaking system
- reworked traction on all axes, especially lateral / sideways.
- reworked acceleration / top speed and gear shifting to better simulation of driving in the city.
- reworked car velocity and aerodynamics.
Hello guys, first of all, you should know that this is a realistic handling mod for those who drive this car in FPS mode. I created this handling to give you the sense of control and true feeling of the car, NOT SPEED. Driving this car through the crowded city , alongside with other cars is just a beauty. You can control your car very easy without going to 100 km/h too fast.
Now, there is a reason I've set the car's max speed to 100 km/h. In my experience of editing handling for gtav, I've came to the conclusion that if you want 1st person driving in this game you cant go beyond lets say 120-130 (and thats a bit of stretch already). If you drive too fast in this game, you will not be able to get the true feeling of the car.
installation Instructions:
1. You need the car:
https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/honda-civic-type-r-ek9
Install the car using the instructions you will find in the archive.
Then navigate to: x64w.rpf \ dlcpacks \ spupgrade \ dlc.rpf \ common \ data
and extract handling.meta file to your PC. Open it and search for "blista2". Replace the lines from the original file with the lines from my file.
If you have any suggestions, leave it in the comments below.
Remember that this is ment for people that want to drive this car in the city having somehow a true feeling. It's not for people who want to fly off the map.
If you find this mod enjoyable, you can contact me and I can help you with any other cars, as long as you want them to be driven in FPS mode.

@ValkyriePC
When i watched the video, i realized a certain incompatibility between the sound of acceleration and the performance of the car. The sound is fast and the car is slow.
Increase performance of the car to give a better feeling when dodges from other cars.
@Krazy
That incompatibility comes from the engine rev. I fully understand what you are saying and I am trying to fix that actually. There are a lot of variables that affect the way a vehicle sounds in GTAV and some of those variables I belive can be tweaked on my end just a little to improve the "sync". I will do some testing and if I get satisfying results, I will update this file. Thatk you for your observation.
@ValkyriePC you should release all the handling mod in one single mod, then keeps updating it, adding new handling
@ImNotMentaL
I already told rappo the reason i cant do that. There are many vehicles I plan to do this for and the locations of the handling.meta is different on each and everyone of them. Some are replaces, some are add/ons and it would be just chaotic to include everything in a single .rar archive with tens of instruction files. Plus, I wouldnt be able to make a video demo for the cars. Trust me, if I could do it all-in-one pack, I would because it would save me A LOT of time, but if I want to keep things organized, it's better to have it this way.
Hello friend, I suggest what could be done also for trucks. It would be nice the impression of being in the ETS 2 mainly together the sound of gear shifting! great job!
@Teoadrianoj
Hey, when you adress me a comment pls use @myname so I get the alert. i spotted this comment of your by accident :) Yes, I am going to make this for trucks aswell. Tomorow morning I am going to upload my latest mod for Camaro SS and then I'm gonna make it for a truck. Do you have any truck that you would preffer ? I was thinking of the Scania one: https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/scania-r730-streamline-4x2
@ValkyriePC Face great suggestion, Scania is a beautiful way will be show!
@Teoadrianoj
Okay, so it's decided, I will make it. it won't be easy to do it for a truck because it needs power to carry the load and it also needs to be controllable in traffic. It will require a lot of tweaking and testing but it should be ready by Sunday at most.
is the sound in the video a honda sound mod? any links to it? thanks
