This mod increases the speed of vehicles so that they are more like their real life counterparts, no more 120 mph Adder or Entity xf.
You'll see the difference mostly in performance vehicles but almost every vehicle is faster than it was originally.
Now covers dlc vehicles.
To install, replace the Handling.meta in update.rpf>common>data.
For the dlc cars it's x64w.rpf.

so does this make all vehicles realistic? id like the gear ratios, the traction, and the amount of gears realistic too..
No it just give them more power, I basically just increased drive inertia, flat velocity and decreased drag co efficiency, rear wheel drive cars are a bit harder to handle but drifting them is fun.
The top speeds should be around what you'd expect a car of a particular type to be able to do e.g the adder should do 240-260 mph whereas a boring saloon car does 120-130 mph..
@Doctorgta If you interested in more detailed tweaks I suggest you to try this one:

hello, i dont really understand where i should put the mod. could you explain where i should place everything (path) ty :)
the top speed is good but to start its not realistic on the acceleration its like 0-100 in like 2 secs or less that could use a fix.
Hey there. Does anyone know a place where we can see the codenames of the car from the handling.meta ? I'm trying to do my own mod but some cars seems to be missing. ( Like the 9F and the Furore GT for example ) but I can't seem to find them in the file. Any help ?
@M4MKey The furore GT is in one of the dlc handlig meta files in x64w.rpf.
Right now, I think I've only tried non-dlc cars.
But I am seriously enjoying the lack of grip. This makes the vehicles so much more fun to throw around! I actually want to try out all the cars for once, so I can feel how they handle! Amazing stuff!
Will it still work if i upgrade the vehicle?
Hmmm does this works fine if i'm using a keyboard to drive?
@alazynapkin Yes, upgrading cars makes them even faster.
Which cars is this for or is it a cop out like alk these other mods that only do the super cars. Does the muscle and sports class get realistic enhancement as well
Any advice to get my game to crash a little less? I love the mod but my game seems to crash ever few minutes. The only other mods I have installed are the simple trainer mod V. and one to give me a speedometer when driving.
@humanitarian someone doesn't know how to mod correctly...
@humanitarian someone doesnt know how to make a backup before modding
@Adrian47 and where did you get the notion that i didnt have a backup file? rofl
@humanitarian You cant "fuck up" your game if you use mods separated in a Mods folder. If your game is "fucked", it seems that you have been working directly in GTA V primary folder.
