This mod replaces the default freight train container skins with real life liveries. It also replaces the flatcars with either TTX or BNSF skins.
The container liveries include:
- J.B. Hunt
- Evergreen
- FedEx MultiModal
- APL (American President Lines)
- Hanjin
- Swift Intermodal
- Hapag-Lloyd
- K Line
- Hyundai
- CSX Intermodal
- Maersk SeaLand
- Pacer Stacktrain
I highly recommend using these textures in conjunction with Walter's Improved Train mod.
Installation (create backups before installing!)
- Open OpenIV
- Go to x64e.rpf → levels → gta5 → vehicles.rpf
- Pick which container you wish to use for freightcont1
- Once you have chosen the container, replace both freightcont1+hi.ytd and freightcont1.ytd in vehicles.rpf
- Repeat this step for freightcont2, replacing both freightcont2+hi.ytd and freightcont2.ytd
- If you wish to also install the standalone flatcar texture, pick which flatcar you wish to use and replace both freightcar+hi.ytd and freightcar.ytd in vehicles.rpf
The png files for TTX and BNSF are also included if you wish to play around with just the flatcar textures.
--
1.4 - Added Swift Intermodal livery. Please note: I had to make the logo partially from scratch since there were no correct logos available on google images, so my apologies if it isn't 100% accurate or there are mistakes (my photoshop skills are a little lackluster)
1.3 - Added Hapag-Lloyd livery
--
I tried to make the containers look as authentic as possible given the texture limitations. This is my first mod so feedback and bug reports is much appreciated.

sorry for swearing :(
I'll Grab this thanks ;)
@satrnv I would like to contact you for a personal request regarding your mod, what's your email?
@satrnv If you prefer contact me privately through my profile page (homepage link is my e-mail adress).
@Yoda4P ask here.
can i use your texture mod into a modpack and share online, credits included?
@Yoda4P no, sorry
@satrnv ok no problem
oh fuck this looks awesome! it is exactly what i was searching for, gives again bit more realism with the real ad mod i already have. Keep it up! Awesome! Thanks!
PLZZ MAKE TRAIN COACHES IN REPLACE OF THAT CARGO BOXES IT WILL BE AWSOME
this mod has been awesome, but it unfortunately crashes on the mission where trev and franklin are stealing container and the freight engine. no worries backuped the original texture during this mission.
Is it possible to have multiple skins for the selected type of container?
@Ramsey unfortunately no. I think we've tried that before and the game just crashes. trains seem to be super finicky when you start modding them beyond just textures.
Very nice!
@TheSwagLlama 1,285 people, apparently.
@satrnv I LOVE this Mod! I run an export business so this is right up my alley. If you still update, I recommend you update to remove Hanjin, considering they are no longer a company xD Maybe replace them with MSC or NYK Line?
These are awesome! Thank you!
really nice
@satrnv Hello. Do you know i can use this mod with one traincar and multiply liveries? I create a mod with 5 freightcontainers and they only have different skins. Could you explain me how i can add all this liveries to one file (multiply random liveries ingame)?
Can someone please help me on this mod?? I have downloaded it and followed the directions, but the file keeps showing up like this ….. µµËÑ•È–UNÓ^@²)ƒïZØsf
‚jm*Ò+ž'yŒ`1^Ù›†Iì¹àKÙÊŽŒÏ'v„½À¹fƒ
any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
