AS OF VERSION 2.8 BAKAMANIA'S AWESOME SOUND MOD WILL BE REQUIRED!
Welcome to Ripplers Realism I found many weapon mods for gta 5 to be a little off if you feel the same way then this might be what you are looking for in this mod every single firearm and launcher has been tweaked as well as a few vehicles to feel more immersive and responsive and more reflect their real life counterparts. This has many unique features but here are some of them:
-grenade launcher rounds explode on impact instead of that stupid bounce
-higher rates of fire for all weapons, bolts and slides cycle much faster they no longer look like there in slow motion
-more realistic recoil guns feel very responsive
-realistic muzzle velocity,damage and range depending on caliber and barrel length requiring much more skill to hit targets especially moving ones ( this applies to npc's as well)
-added muzzle effects to weapons that didn't have them the barrel will smoke for a longer time after sustained fire
-increased range for weapon light and gave it a real UV color
-low velocity rounds will do far less damage to body armor then before
-optional files such as bullet penetration, heavy shotgun conversion and a few more.
And much more has been done hope you enjoy this mod I spent alot of time on it this mod will be expanded upon as time progresses and my knowledge grows of the games code much is planned so stay tuned !!!!!!! You can find all the installation details in the README file that comes with the download as of V1.8 the installation process is an absolute snap and is much less time consuming.

NOTE: There is currently an issue with completing the mission Nervous Ron the lights cannot be shot out in that mission because of the changes I made to the Sniper Rifle.My mod does not effect light shooting (in fact it increases the range it can be done) in the rest of the game its only a problem with this mission. Credit to Anach for discovering this.

Who's using this mode and the car explodes?
I can't do it, but if I attack the car while using the mode, it's okay for the car.Why?
However, parked cars explode, but if npc is in it, the car will be invincible.
Someone tell me the reason...
Is there any way to disable reload changes? It makes the animation look like it's in slow motion for me.
This mod is fucked up. Do not install it.
@Cat-SeVen yeah it causes me to fail mission Nervous Ron the moment I entered ammu-nation, had to skip that part and the next one (the part where you're sniping from the water tower). Another mission that was unplayable with this mod is "By the book," when Michael has to snipe an Azerbaijani from afar (this is unskippable however, because there's no way for you to fail the mission during the sniping part)
I remember this mod not causing me any issues on earlier versions of the game, but other than making some parts of missions unplayable it's a really great mod. My favorite part is the object penetration.

How do i backup my update.rpf and common.rpf? I use epic games launcher.
@All For those who are installing this mod, here are a few tips
-BAKAMANIA'S AWESOME SOUND MOD is not required for this mod. You can use any weapon sound mod you like as long as you install the sound only option provided from those mods. The sound only option allows you to use weapon.meta files without any problems. In other words, it is a mod compatibility. Only use the sound only option if you plan to use any different weapon.meta files from other mod creators.
-You must have a mods folder and install through mods/update/update.rpf (from there, you will follow as shown).
-This mod is outdated as it only works for weapons from the bikers dlc and under. It will not work with the new weapons provided in the recent updates.
-If you installed Epic Explosions XX https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/realistic-effects-of-explosions DO NOT install the Enhanced Grenades, Tear Gas, and Molotov's option from the "Options" folder as Epic Explosions XX already does this.
There are many bugs that are still in this mod and will not be fixed since the author does not upload anymore... Hopefully this helps!
@All Considering this mod is obviously outdated, a similar/recommended mod would be immersive combat. https://www.gta5-mods.com/weapons/immersive-combat-artupaky01 It modifies all the weapons in the game including MKII and the newly released weapons such as the heavy rifle. It also has multiple compatibility patches for other mods like Flashlight Overhaul 1.2 by FKDZ or VED. If you plan to install sound mods, install those first and then install immersive combat. You can still use this mod but it is outdated and may not work well with other weapon mods.
This mod makes me unable to load a game, I just get an infinite loading screen that says "Entering Story Mode", am I doing something wrong? do I have to install something else first?
Is there a way to remove the changes to the flashlight from this mod? It's way too bright with NVE.
Shotgun headshots still make people to backflips, and messing around with force and impulse values do basically nothing. They only seem to affect dead ragdolls, not living npcs. Can someone help me out?

why don't the police and npc shoot the player? he just points his gun and doesn't shoot, how to fix it?

@Fuuka if you have a police rework like RDE install it afterward, for whatever reason it messes with the police behavior.
This mod screws up the campaign missions and makes the game unplayable, It's an amazing mod for free roam but not for proper story mode
