@0riscape Are you using the NVE's modloader? If so, I think that might be the problem
@Alex106 Are you talking about the onigiri folder? If so, I did try installing the mod that way a long with manually installing the OIV file--it took me hours to figure out but it didn't work, I got about until the game played the audio of the police sirens and gun shots until the game crashed. Before I installed it in the onigiri folder, I installed it following your instructions but my game crashed on startup--the Rockstar launcher telling me the game closed unexpectedly and to launch with reduced graphics settings.
@0riscape I don't know much about NVE, but if im not wrong it has various optionals (such as changes for the map) unless i'm mistaken.
Have you tried with just the base mod?
@Alex106 Yeah, I have. I even tried removing the vegetation that came with NVE but it didn't make any difference.
this is true @Alex106 this mod doesnt work with nve on my enhanced, also i specifically DONT use the onigiri folder, instead i use the openrpf method and have my nve installed in the mods folder still this mod and nve are not compatiple, prob sum issue with overlapping textures maybe? would love for u to fix this issue
@Thirsty_edits How can I install NVE into my mods folder?
@0riscape https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/openrpf-openiv-asi-for-gta-v-enhanced#comments_tab check the pinned comment on the link
@0riscape @Thirsty_edits I don't think it will work, but have you also tried a different gameconfig?
@Alex106 yes i have, idk abt the other guy but ive tried multiple gameconfigs yet these 2 js dont seem to work.. hoping u could figure it out cz this mod is seriously underrated, also i have a request u can obv decide but could u make a atlas map remaster for enhanced? since u already have the old gen version i think it'd be pretty easy for u to port the famous atlas coloured map to enhanced
@Alex106 I did manage to install NVE with your mod Restored Gen7 Assets with no issues using a different gameconfig (https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/expanded-enhanced-gameconfig-gta-5-enhanced) but whenever I tried installing this mod, my game always crashed on startup
@Thirsty_edits @0riscape Honestly I don't know what could be causing the issue then (since NVE changes a lot of stuff)
As for the minimap, Thirsty_edits, I can't
@Alex106 Well if you're ever able to figure it out it would be awesome, as I like this mod way more than other vegetation mods out there.
@Alex106 ah well thats unfortunate.. hoping u or someone can fix these 2 to be compatible and add the atlas map
@Thirsty_edits I installed NVE into my mods folder but lights on lamp posts, cars, stop lights, and so on are overexposed. Anyway to fix this?
@0riscape oh yeah that happened with me once, i dont remember exactly but i readded the "graphics.ytd" file wherever it was supposed to be and that fixed it for me
@Thirsty_edits Where would I place the graphics.ytd file?
@Alex106 Awsome work as always! Can you add to the description how the dlc pack order should look like in the list-file in order not to conflict with the others? This way we have a reference to treat it as "block" when it comes to organise it with other dlc packs. Thanks in advance.
@0riscape not really sure, u can check that out on ur own
@Senf-Man The order in the dlclist doesn't matter (the game loads the DLC packs based on the "orderValue" in the setup2.xml) and nothing else needs to be done
@Alex106 Cool, thanks for the clarification. Are you on any discord, would love to learn more about these aspects.
