This mod ONLY change the amplitude of waves. Thus the sea does not become a great joke and the water level is normal.
Ideal for those who want a more agitated sea without distorting the games.
Version 1.1 :
- Added option +0 who remove waves, the sea become like lakes.
- Adding options +10 and +20 for fun.
- Added option "reverse" that reverses the direction of waves ! Available for normal, +10 and +20.
- Versions Name on pictures.
There are seven differents options :
0) Normal, reverse normal
1) +0
2) +0.5
3) +2
4) +5
5) +10, reverse +10
6) +20, reverse +20
This appellation is based on the amplitude values that I edit.
Installation :
- With OpenIV (2.6), open "common.rpf" (Edit Mod enabled)
- Go to data > levels > gta5
- Drag and drop 'water.xml' of your choice
- Go to File > Rebuild
- Verify its "common.rpf" and click rebuild
- Close OpenIV and enjoy !

This mod isn't in cause, But yes with the new patch the waves are now 'weird'.... And got a flat oil sea if we change weather with a Trainer.
I've told this bug directly to Alexander Blade but scripthook/native trainer isn't in fault; This is a Rockstar bug : We need to report it to them if we want em to fix that..
@_cyrAx It's happening with the original water files too, this mod isn't in cause, report it to Rockstar.

Yeah guys whats happened with the latest update in regards to waves? Why on earth would they remove one of the best water and wave effects in the last decade? It looks terrible now. Might be easy to ride a boat with no bumps but cant be any more unrealistic. WTF

Would you possibly give me the values that you changed to recive the percieved effects? i would like realistic waves varying from 2m-5m is it possible to randomize it slightly? Cool mod and very well done, thanks mate!

Also, it looks really weird to have these big waves and then not go farther on the beach- can anything be done about this, or..?

did you ever find a way to increase the distance for them?
for most games i make my own distance mods, but this fucker, i think i haven't managed to find any of the ones that matter.. shadow, lod, effects such as the waves.. only game settings for those :/

i go to "File" but there's no rebuild option. I'm in edit mode.
