For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to install this. I don't see a mods folder nor any of the folders it says in the instructions. I have openiv, but none of the folders are there. Can I get a hand with this please?

@Alex106 Thank you for this mod. I didn't even know it existed until someone referred me over here. I am one of the OG modding community that still uses Skin Control. I always crashed when approaching a certain model number, for me it was around 200 and it was ALWAYS a CTD. My belt is at model 202 and if I approached the number from low going to the high numbers, guaranteed crash, but if I were to scroll backwards from 400 to 202, sometimes I was successful. With your mod it doesn't matter now and I can confidently get the proper model numbers.

unfortunately still crashes when i try to load a male MP ped. this worked before but not now unfortunately

This mod broke my Epic version somehow. R* now only recognizes Steam version and refuses to run Epic version even after removing the mod.

This is the only thing I've installed or even changed about the game recently. I was able to play the game yesterday. Even if I remove all mods and scripts, the game refuses to boot. How is this possible? The only other option is that QuantV is on his "anti-piracy" crusade again and my VPN made him think I was an unauthorized user or something.

I got it fixed. As it turns out, R* did an update to their launcher which made the game act like it was an invalid installation if there was a txt file in the base game folders. This change came about the same time I installed your mod.

face paint is all black and hats i cant go past 18 why is that and how do i fix that? PLZ HELP
