This will be better if you can choose your own car to drive and race against instead all of the same cars
@oldnapalm Really good job on updating the mod, but if it had a few more features ot would be complete. 1. Change winning reward (50k is a lot)
2. Better then 1 - an option to bet on the race, or race for free, for fun. 3. If you could race with your current car (but not a big deal if we can add it in the xml, but it's without livery)
Overall the AI drive really bad, there's no race feeling, and that's with 'Faster AI Drivers' mod.
Also, if my car explode and I die, the race continues.
F to cancel race, but what if I fall of my bike? Can't get back on my bike *facepalm*
@Itzhak880 thanks for the suggestions, I will take a look for the next update.
Regarding using your own car, it doesn't make much sense to me, the cars are determined in the race xml (AvailableVehicles).
There's an updated version in the GitHub repo which adds a respawn option in the F menu (https://github.com/oldnapalm/CommunityRaces/issues/5) but the F key should also work to remount the bike if you are close enough.
About AI drivers there's not much I can do, the mod just uses the game native function which navigates through the routing mesh. For more competitive racing you should use a mod with more complex AI, like Autosport Racing System (linked a few comments above). I can also suggest the race resource for the RageCoop multiplayer mod, it uses the races from Community Races and lets you race against other players https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/gtacoop-r-race-resource
@oldnapalm There's a next update?? lol I'm excited now. So please do make this mod the #1 in the racing category! It already great that you can hide the race blips, that's very important. Here's some features I'd really love to see:
1. Option to bet on the race, and to race for free, for fun. (side note: why when I finish the race 2nd place or greater I still get rewarded? (30,000) I really didn't expect that, and what's with the completion rate at the end of the race? I should either win or lose, that's it)
Fixes:
1. I find opponents sometimes without a car in the middle of the race, they get out or lose the car for some reason.
2. happened a couple of times, that an opponent finishes the race 1st, and when I come after him, somewhere near the end of the race the script puts *me* on 1st, and if I back up away from the finish line, I come back to 2nd place.
That's what comes to my mind at the moment.

Oh here;s something I forgot. An option to move the lines that show current position and time, since it's overlaping with LeFix speedometer and probably others too.
@oldnapalm Hey for the next update can you fix the races names replacing some other graphics and appearing in the middle of the screen? (it replaces big messages in better chases+ for example) The text also appears when opening NativeUI / LemonUI
I agree with some of the people here, please add an option to set the reward for completing a race. Or at least lower the 50k to 5k or something. Otherwise excellent mod.

I'll repeat my suggestion: an ini setting to tweak randomize the rewards and an entry fee would be great!

@oldnapalm Btw, the new feature "Added option to respawn at last checkpoint" is not working for me, when I use the key only shows a notification "Select teleport destination".
@Drakan respawn key is F. F8 is the teleport key (need to select a destination on map first).
@oldnapalm My fault, I confused F with F8 when editing the .ini file.
Then i bind teleport in 'pause key' because i already have a teleport to waypoint with tainer :p

Put a own car? I would be handsome for the customization, but.. with the stock vehicle the races are already easy, I don't want to imagine with a tuned vehicle.. xD
@oldnapalm Would it be possible to just unmap the teleport key, please? Right now the script fails to load if I leave the space blank, and if I use the hotkey, it messes up the mod "Enable all interiors" because I get the message "Entering single player" when teleport with the hotkey from this mod, for some reason.
@Fenrir1974 I can do it in a future update. For now you can bind to an unused key.
