A wise man used to say "Double the gun, Double the fun". That's why Dual Wield mod by Jedijosh is all we need, sadly it's outdated. I've decided to redo the script and make it slightly prettier with a few new features.

This script was made on game version 3179, other versions are untested.
How to Install:
Inside the rar there are 2 things: DualWield.dll, DualWield.ini
Put all of them into the "/scripts" folder, the usual for script mods, located in gta main folder
After installation, In-game you can activate Dual Wield with X. You can change the key, turn off FakeRecoil or the new AimingAnims in the .ini config on that "/scripts" folder
Bugs:
More Gore mod by IAmJFry. If you have this, disable its PlayerHealingAnimation in its XML settings, otherwise you'll have two overlapping guns in your right hand
Pickups by InfamousSabre might not running well when changing weapon with dual wield on.
Addon Weapons are untested, i never used addon weapon mods, so I can't guarantee this will work with those addon guns

Features:
- Ammo is now independent, it takes the original ammo and doubles it. It has its own ammo counter (on top right corner)
- No more frequent crashes (e.g entering vehicle used to crash the mod)
- More damage, now it adds player's damage. It used to utilize NPC damage only
- Now, reloading will be done twice (reload one weapon at a time) and weapons are less accurate.
- Fire rate is the same, cause it's the same gun only it holds and spits more bullets
- Changing weapons while dual-wielding with no crashes
- Heavy guns, and explosives cannot be dual-wielded, it doesn't make sense dual-wielding a mother-effing minigun
- Attachments on the firearm will be carried over to the dual-wielded one
- Controller supported, Aim and press Phone Right (DPad right on default game setting)
- Improved animations from the original one, without using custom anims
- Can be used in pair with Shootdodge: The Sequel

- Please reload in safe place, whenever you reload the character will stop
- Animations may look weird, all anims is from the game no custom anims. I'm not a full-time modder/programmer, just a hobbyist. I won't respond requests or complains about animations, cry to someone else.

- Dual-Wield while using Shootdodge Sequel v1.3 with limitation (Can't aim 360°, aim forward only)
- Animation is adjusted, now the guns on FPS view don't look too high
- Added animations when aiming very high or very low (e.g aiming heli or enemy below you), if it looks weird for you, you can turn it off in the config.
- Animations altered when entering cover or jumping (the hands won't be closed together when holding rifles/smg).
- Added recoils to the camera (a.k.a fake recoil), adjustable in the config
- Player damage is raised, especially for non-auto guns
- First release

@mbahdokek If you ever have time, could you revive the dismemberment mod? It currently works pretty badly and even lags if you cut a lot of people, plus sometimes the dismemberment props don't appear and well it's practically a vital mod for GTA that's been forgotten.
@NOHABLOTAKATAKA i dont have a plan to revive that, someone already did fix some errors or bugs on 2022, you can check my comment on the Dismemberment mod page, i repacked the fix on gdrive
@mbahdokek Wow, I didn't know that, I'll try it, thank you very much.
When I shoot once it shoots 2 bullets at once but only utilizes one round of the doubled magazines.
For example for 2 guns with mags of 30 rounds dual wielded that should normally shoot 30 times per mouse click since you shoot 2 bullets at once then shoots 60 times 2 bullets which should logically equate to having two 60 rounds mags instead of the 30 round mags times two. Basically this mod quadruples the amount of bullets fired.
@Elzimbabwe Just try to ignore it, the correct one is "one click one shot" thus the ammo counter is right, the shooting cycles (left gun-right gun). But, because the whole mod uses a hacky solution (GTA 5 has no true dual wield mechanic) the weapon it shoots will always doubled since it's player weapon + fake weapon, and the player weapon effect (bullet holes etc) couldn't be hidden. ik ppl who plays tactical realism shit loves small details but no this won't be fixed, sorry.
@mbahdokek Do the second bullet do any damage? If it does nothing then I'm perfectly fine with it.

Well, GTA doesn't allow me to add fire rate for the guns via script, the mod won't give any new advantages beside more ammo per weapon because we double the gun. So, to give you an edge on combat, well why not add more damage by doubling the output, but still uses the cycling shooting.

When remaking Weapons On Back, I noticed that weapon tint (except the Yusuf Amir one) doesn't get carried over to the dual-wielded version of the gun. So, next I'll address this on a small update 1.2.5
@mbahdokek awesome man keep up the good work bringing back all of jedijoshs classic mods. Sad most dont work on newer versions i had so much fun with them several years ago. Thanks for the hard work man!

Is it possible for this mod to be compatible with drive bys in cars? like the gta iv drive by mod?
@GeoMan sorry gta v dont have animation included that mimic the dual-wield driveby, and why would you even want to dual wield when drive-by, how the driver even hold the steering wheel
GTA V is updated to 3323.0, if you still want to use mods, please consider to revert back to older version. Got confirmation that the update included BattleEye anti-cheat that will pose difficulty on ScriptHookV. I won't respond to any errors that correlates with user mistake on using mods on the new version of the game.
