After seeing ENT in serious need of an update (and with the other ENT members not having the time anymore to update ENT) I've taken on the role of keeping ENT as up to date as I can.
I've been releasing updates on GTAForums for a while now, but due to multiple requests - I'm going to put the changes here as well as in the ENT thread on GTAForums
This is built on Enhanced Native Trainer update 28 (so your previous database file and config will work with this).
Notable features include:
- Skin customiser
- Vehicle customiser
- Weapon customiser
- Organised & extra vehicles
- Organised & extra teleport locations
- Ability to save vehicles & skins
- Many additional general options
- Saves/restores settings across multiple uses
- Controller support
For installation details and keys/controls, and what's new in each release, please read the document in the ZIP.
This will tell you, for example, that by default, game controls are disabled whilst in the menu, but that you can turn this off in Miscellaneous > Trainer Options. See, useful.
You can redefine the keys using the supplied XML, which should be placed in the game directory.
Known Issues:
- Reshade 1.1 will crash your game if you run ENT alongside it. I'm told Redux works fine however. It's way above my head, so not something I can fix.
- When loading ENT, unplug any controller and let your game load before plugging it back in. Not doing this will result in your game crashing during loading, or an infinite loading screen!
I've included the original thread as I (and others) still use it to test builds and give feedback on them.
If any of the other ENT team members want me to rename my updated fork of ENT (to prevent issues with the names and anything I may add which they may not want in ENT), please PM me and I'll change it.
How to use the Hotkey functionality (Tutorial courtesy of Slash Alex):
Due to formatting problems (Xml code not showing up) - this is a link to tutorial instead:

Enhanced Native Trainer: Update 56.0
Contributions wholly thanks to @Slash_Alex:-
Added:
* Added a 'Menu Scrolling' option.
Fixed:
* Improved the 'Fuel Consumption' feature. You can rebind the jerrycan hotkey now (update your ent-config.xml file).
* Fixed a nasty bug in the 'Use Phone While On Bike' feature.
* Fixed a tiny bug in the 'Super Jump' option.
* Fixed some nasty bugs in the 'Can Run In Apartments' option. It didn't work properly if the player was wanted.
Contributions wholly thanks to Miku2177:-
Added:
* Updated the 8/2 control scheme. Modified the navigation controls for keys 8 and 2. Holding down 8 or 2 now auto-scrolls to the next page. Continuous page scrolling is now enabled by holding 8 or 2, with full cyclic navigation between pages.
Fixed:
* Adjusted the title position & aligned the title and items.
* Optimized Sucking Grenades and Gravity Gun message prompts. Fixed Sucking Grenades flashing bug & fixed prompt conflict (notification messages kept appearing when they shouldn't).
Contributions wholly thanks to Lucienlmy:-
Added:
* Added a GitHubAction to compile ENT on the repo whenever a change is pushed to main.
Known Bugs:-
* Some of the weapon tints (namely MK1 tints) use the incorrect name in ENT. This is a side effect of using the in-game names.
@Zemanez Hi! I used your trainer the whole time I played GTA, and I was upset to find out it didn't work in Enhanced.
I'm going to port this trainer. Could you tell me what level the trainer accesses the game at? Does it access the game through Script Hook V (natives), or does it access the game directly through memory (direct pointers, signatures, custom structures, etc.)?
Pretty fantastic for the most part. The only thing I tested that was less than ideal was the auto-driver function, seems to be busted for me, they drive around in circles and get confused . Everything else I tested (most everything tbh) worked fantastically!
@liuyu2255565
This is likely a R* script logic issue not an ENT one. They keep track of the character data (ped ID, money, stats like stamina etc) for each protagonist but when you use a ped which isn't one of the protagonists - there's no data to keep track of because it shouldn't be a thing. The only method to fix this would be to somehow copy an existing protagonists data (ped ID etc) to your character (in memory) and hope it fools the scripts responsible for checking.
That isn't something which is an easy fix either as it could end up breaking scripts given swapping peds isn't an intended feature in GTA and dynamically patching scripts isn't something a lot of menus offer.
@Reverse Eng
Primarily through natives thankfully but features like the auto-updating vehicle despawn global; auto-generating vehicle spawn list and snow patterns are memory patterns which would require to be found/updated for Enhanced.
Annoyingly with R*'s shift in pipeline, to now use LLVM to compile GTA, makes finding the right pointer in something like IDA a worse chore than it was in Legacy. Those are the primary issues with getting ENT running on Enhanced as natives are easily renamed/swapped out but updating those patterns requires time we just don't have.
Code wise ENT would ideally need a rewrite as it's difficult to add new features R* have added (and will likely add to Enhanced). It was written at a time when R* was concentrating on story missions for Online and not new content so when MK2 weapons appeared, it just didn't fit nicely into ENT's existing logic for example. Online interiors is the same - i.e custom color sets for interiors like the hangars.
Please update for enhanced
Mind giving me a hand in getting this to work? It stopped working for me(probably because I added some mod I can't remember which). When I do the controller command to open it, nothing happens. I even tried to leave controller unplugged like suggested. Nothing. If I hit f4. the game CTD's, but it seems that's more related to scripthook.net I think.
Any ideas why it doesn't open up for me anymore?
I also get an error when loading a save. Legacy version. Says:
CORE: An exception occurred while executing 'EnhancedNativeTrainer.asi', id 3
Exception addr 0x00007FF8E7040F29 is
EnhancedNativeTrainer.asi+0x009B0F29
Last called native 0x000000000000000
That last 00000 thing has a lot, too many to really count so it's not exact number. had to screenshot the error since I couldn't even open it
Any ideas? I'd love to get this thing working again
My game keeps crashing when I try to open the trainer but I don't receive any errors, it just freezes and then crashes. Anyone have an idea what might be wrong?
@Wertologist
Under the Enhanced Native Trainer folder in your GTA folder should be a log. If it's ENT related it should give you an idea what happened in there.
That's an invalid native so something has told SHV to execute something invalid. One fix is to rename your ENT.db file (Win + R -> %appdata% and the Enhanced Native Trainer folder. Rename ent.db) and relaunch GTA. If it was a buggy option force-resetting ENT like this should help you get back in-game. If it still crashes then your game needs either verified (through the launcher) or there's a conflicting mod somewhere.
@unholypotato im waiting too
@xLogger @Electronik-FArts @unholypotato
As I've stated already - it won't be from us as we don't have time these days. The source is available (in fact it's linked in the description) so you're welcome to give it a crack yourself but keep in mind what needs updating is not something you can just drop into ChatGPT and be done with it. You'll need to have experience in tools like IDA or Ghidra.
Mentioned in an above comment to 'Reverse Eng' is what would need fixed (memory patterns primarily as natives should just need renamed). Long term though - ENT in it's current state isn't scaleable with things R* are adding (i.e new interior customisation) so while updating will get it working, long term it'll need a more in-depth rewrite of certain menu functions.
Im on version is 1.0.3337.0 with latest Scripthook V and with Latest Enhanced Native Trainer Version 56 but This mod keep saying error about Scripthook V
@KaiiserAmil
Have you tried running JUST ENT and seeing if it still crashes? If it doesn't then it's a mod conflict. If it is you can try and verify your game files through the R* launcher or rename the ent.db file and relaunch the game.
Renaming the DB will force-reset ENT's option states.
Okay where is ent.db file?
I have a question: can you activate options in the Enhanced Native Trainer and also save when you restart GTA 5? I would like to ask for an answer, thank you.
will this be updated for gta enhanced ?
@KaiiserAmil Win + R -> %appdata% and the Enhanced Native Trainer folder.
@NixosGamer The Enhanced Native Trainer remembers any option you've chosen. It's saved in the ent.db file, so you won't lose anything after you restart GTA.
Thanks man, i will try it now
Hey, I need help with a mod issue in GTA V.
I installed the Native Enhanced Trainer, and now every time I press or hold the Jump key (Spacebar), a “Force Push” effect happens — all nearby vehicles go flying into the air.
When I launch the game, there’s a message above the minimap that says “Hold Jump to use your force”, and it seems like this feature is stuck on.
I’ve tried turning it off in the trainer menu and also using a cheat command to disable it, but nothing works — the effect is still active even after restarting the game.
Is there a way to permanently disable or remove this Force Push ability?
I’d prefer to keep using the trainer, but I really want to get rid of this one feature.
Any help is appreciated!
@Slash_Alex Thanks for your answer :)
