About
The Self Radio menu mod allows you to place as many MP3 files into the Self Radio Music folder and play them in-game. It saves you time from alt tabbing out of your game and functions greatly like the native Self Radio. This is essentially an MP3 player for GTA V. Why this mod, you may ask? Well the Self Radio in the game is proven to cause lag on some systems and with this mod you can choose your favorite song while on foot, in the car, fighting the police, whatever.

I installed everything properly and it seems as if this mod no longer works, I have the nativeUI v 1.7 installed and everything in the scripts folder. Its odd that this mod worked perfectly 2 months ago and now all of a sudden the latest update broke it.
Update, finally got it to work again. Its still functional. You need to follow that downlink to get that nativeUI version 1.7 and it goes inside the Scripts folder with the content files of the Self radio download and it works in game! Make sure your Scripts folder says Scripts and not Script or else scripthookdot net wont recognize it, this is where I messed up :( But this mod still works. Using it now with my ROBOCOP voice play in LSPDFR!
very good mod.
i have one issue i can only have 5 songs. does someone know how to fix it?
fixed it
I can’t get mine to work is says something about unhandled exception an invalid operation exception can someone plz help
when I try to play a song I get errors, I did everything step by step and still not working, can anyone help me?
@SGTMCDOOGLE hey bro, what version of Scripthook V and scripthook V.net did you use?
it doesn't work could someone help me with this
Create This As asi
For those of you getting an error message, it's most likely your mp3 file has a corrupted header. If you look at your codec information, it probably doesn't show up, and Naudio doesn't seem to be able to read the mp3 files that have bad headers. You'll need to either try to repair your mp3 file or get a better file that reads out the Codec, Bit rate, and Frequency in the metadata.
Anybody know a way to get the songs to work using symlinks instead of manually copying the mp3's?
Without a doubt one of the best Mods of all time for this game, and it still works perfectly. Thanks, although the Modder is already resting in the Modders graveyard ... R.I.P
this is already a hing made by rockstar. if you go to documents/rockstar games/gtav/user music. and then you just put the mp3 files in there
no hud
@jedijosh920:excellent work my friend. no more lags when I playing my mp3 songs imgame
I straight up love this mod...Big big Shout out to the Author...
@SGTMCDOOGLE always make sure it's scripts , not Scripts neither Script ;)
thanks for the mod @jedijosh920 king
the mod works perfectly fine at first but sometimes the J key doesn't work anymore
@philip1125
Yes it's already a feature, but using the official self-radio can cause lag, and here you can play your music on foot as well
Hi, I install the mod but when a song is started, it doesn't finish and the mod plays the next track (I just can hear 2s of songs); Any help would be appreciated!!!
