@Enuvx Change the weapon tint
@Odogman12345 Though it would be immensely funny to me if I was to deliberately make a mod that didn't work and asked a bunch of people to pretend it did, I would likely get in a spot of bother for it. Yes, the mod is real.
@Sukhoi The model is based off a Glock 45, as in, the Model, Glock 45. It has nothing to do with the calibre. The calibre is 9mm, just like the real Glock 45. Also, this mod is just a different model, that I've spent more time polishing, and that I think is objectively superior to my other glock styled mod, but it's different enough that I didn't think making it an update would be suitable.
@MasterGoose Yeah, I got no idea what that's about. I highly doubt it's anything to do with this mod, as all this mod does is replace models and textures. It doesn't do any kind of .meta edits at all.
@Tahkii Well, I use a variety of programs to extract models from different games, or I'll buy them from places like CGTrader, then I usually use blender to prepare the model by cutting it into different parts, such as the frame, barrel, sights, slide, etc. From there, I bring it into zmodeler3, and from there I investigate the model further, to see if it's even workable, as for tints to work, the UV mapping has to have been done with a certain level of competency. If it is, I fix a variety of things that blender seems to break upon exporting for some reason, and from there I export templates for each part, which I need to do the textures for the tints to work. Once that's done, I usually do a bunch of fixing and tweaking in zmodeler so the model fits with attachment points and sights line up in first person, so it can just be dropped into the game and like, work immediately. Then there's a lot of texture work, which is basically tweaking normal maps, specular maps, and modifying the diffuse textures into the kind of format that is designed to work with tints.
So uh, blender, zmodeler, and gimp for texture editing.
@jimfantry Russian guns aren't really my thing tbh. There's already a really good makarov mod afaik
@Vintage007 Unlikely, at least any time soon, sorry.
