@nj5050 you should reach for rechkunov, whom in his warfare mod managed to partly make the rim-116 automatically attack player nearby, however it comes with some bugs, for instance, it completely ignores player if it spawned above a specific distance away from the player.
i had recorded a video where it displays their in-game usage one year ago where you see both a RIM-116 and CIWS automatically engage my chopper: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IIKx3c59CT4

I'm not specialist at all, but just wondering, the two stage propulsion is supposed to simulate the delayed activation of the missile's rocket after launch ? It seems on the video that it is propulsing too soon, unless those are the limits of the game's mechanics... Very interesting mod nonetheless, can't wait to test it

If you're interested, I have made several short russian and chinese air force military audio comms as for calling the aircraft for the air strike, that I used and put as a replacement of yours and they were pretty cool, taken from real world military footage and movies. If you're interested, I can share them so you can input it as an alternative to the english comms in the mod.

Hey dude, amazing mod, i wanted to ask you, what specific changes did you do in 1.3 that allowed you to shoot down high flying planes like you said ? I'm trying to ensure missile launching ground vehicles can do the same, but maxing out their lock on range to 9999999.00000 wasn't enough, did you do something more specific ? Thanks
