What matters is, original game is original game, if we want to play story missions, we'd better disable mods for the true experience, knowing that nothing will occur to bug/glitch/crash the game missions in someway. Which is why now i have a game copy without any mods, so i don't even have to disable them when i want to play missions, i think it's the best way to deal with it. But after completing the game, nothing else will make me want to continue playing, which is why i ended up in modding sites.
@TRDOffroad97 I don't think graphics, functionality & car mods affect save games. I've been using the same save game since GTA installation, when i want to start over or start other missions, i just disable mods and all works fine.
@zebra You should of known that modding your game, would affect your missions. After all it's replacing the original game files, if you want to stick with your missions, i suggest you to first complete the game and then install heavy mods such as this one and others like Realism 0.9
I don't know much about your game but i'll suggest you to:
Start "OpenIV>Tools>Asi Manager>" then uninstall all three, this will make the game to use original files which are in main directory, instead of the ones in mods folder.
Note: This will work only if you have mods installed inside the mods folder.
@jedijosh920 Hi, very nice mod, but i cannot get it to work, i placed the files inside scripts folder, i go to the area, but there's only a icon, when i press "B" or whatever the key i chose, nothing happens. It's just the icon. I have original game, updated and i have the latest versions of Script Hook V, Script Hook V.NET, NativeUI and NAudio.
@NefariousBonne That's not necessary. All he has to do is just put RDE code inside the realism files, without replacing the file itself. If he's working on that to be released in 1.0, then that's all i need to know. Thank you for the fast reply, can't wait to see updates. :)
@Im_Koolaid Hello there, use this program http://openiv.com/ watch few guides, and you'll see, it's really easy. For DLC you need to find it and extract it to desktop, then change it, and replace. Watch few tutorials and you will understand in five minutes!
