Version 1.5 fixes some minor body/suspension behavior issues that only showed up for vanilla materials.dat users. I'm sorry for anyone that had a poor experience with the last upload and this version should be much more realistic on vanilla materials.dat.
Based on first hand experience with my beat up real life 75 F100!
390 Cubic Inch (6.4L) Big Block V8
285 HP
120 MPH
Despite suffering from some high RPM oiling issues most won't see without serious mods the 390 Fred Edwards big block V8 is one of Fords best and most underrated engines. Advertised at just 185 HP in the 1970 Ford pickup actual power is closer to 285 HP for the low compression single exhaust 2 barrel versions while the high compression dual exhaust 4 barrel versions offered in Mustangs were advertised at 330 HP despite making even more.
The 1965-1979 Ford F series is an absolute legend of a truck.
Revered as one of the most robust, resilient and reliable
civilian market utility vehicles ever produced.
This generation of Ford pickup is where the motto "Built Ford Tough" was earned and this design was so successful that it ran for over ten years with only cosmetic changes and minor improvements made every so often.
Interestingly the F100 through F350 of this generation all had the same body
which cut production costs for Ford greatly and also makes for a very large and heavy duty line of trucks.
This generation of F series was the most popular work truck of its era and many are still being used worldwide to this day. Fords engines from this time period were well known for their reliability and I know this first hand as my beat up 73 Mustang is still going strong on the original engine over 40 years, and a broken odometer later!
Fords "9 inch" rear axles are also so well known for their durability that swap kits and instructions are made for fitting them into hundreds of different high power RWD vehicles. On top of all that the the twin I beam front suspension on the 2wd models lends itself very well to the rigors of off roading.
So well in fact, that over 50 years later modern state of the art high dollar
trophy trucks still use this same basic twin I beam front suspension design
and as a result many classic Ford 2wd pickups have been converted into
highly competitive vintage off road racers.
The 4x4's front axle is a "solid" unit made by Dana likewise known for durability. This single piece solid front axle design is often preferred over jointed modern counterparts by hardcore off road enthusiasts for it's durability, dependability and reliability.
Inverse power by IKT and my realistic traction overhaul mod are both STRONGLY recommended for max traction realism on and off road.

I will test it with steering wheel, I'll kill myself on the first corner for sure... It is made to test with stock or upgraded suspension engine etc?
@Anxo Rh It works with any LS customs upgrades but it will sound and perform the most like the stock truck with no upgrades. Steering lock may have to be turned up a bit if you wanna use a wheel. 50 seems best for a wheel. I play with a G29 occasionally but I have to keep it kind of low in my uploads for keyboard and gamepad users. Too much steering lock gives you no grip on a keyboard but too little gives you no turn radius with a wheel so I have to try to hit a good middle ground that is decent for all play types.
@Impactjunky I tried this handling and it is funny but with the steering wheel it is not enjoyed the same :P and I know what you mean, I have been doing my tests for a long time and it is difficult to do something that works to all users so thats why I stopped sharing my custom handling.meta´s. Maybe I will upload this one as the last one, it is FWD and RHD xDDD and it works quite well for all users https://youtu.be/Mo0CEgsKYw0 but people are unappreciative with shared handling.meta xD
@Anxo Rh That looks really good, great job! Unfortunately most people just don't seem to appreciate realistic vehicle behavior. Maybe it just takes a real car nut to even notice the difference.
Cool
