Lowers melee damage - removes fatal strikes
Melee weapons are no longer one hit kills - give someone a beat-down without killing them!! (there are still "takedowns" atm which are situational/position based 1-hit kills)
Note: this mod alters only melee damage settings, no overall health settings are changed.
Install:
Use openIV - add file to common.rpf/data/action
What I'd like to add if possible: Shoving
Feedback is appreciated!!! - tell me what you think is too weak or too strong

Was looking for something like that.
I always liked the way GTA IV treated fights that is to say that when a NPC lost a certain amount of health during a fight they would double over and limp away. That gave you the option to kick some @ss without becoming a murderer.
I really hated how you couldn't even knock anyone out, instead they just died. Made things boring, at least with this mod you get the most bang out of a fight!
I have to admit i thought that this mod was tweaked to much when i first saw the videos! But when i first got to play it i really felt for it. i love the way you can start a fight and after a little while the '' attacking ped '' might give up and try to flee. It really give you a upper hand witch fells really enjoyable! also this mod works so freaking well with the bodyguard 1.5 mod. so much fun running around and start big fights!
10/10 il keep this mod!

after 10-11 hits hurt flag then possible death after one more hit ill download it then...
Melee hits are not one-hit-kills in vanilla GTA V.

Hey, is there an option to change only the fighting speed, leaving all other settings (damage etc) the same? It would be awesome to fight 5 guys at the same time. now it's impossible, because punches are soooo slow.

Make the mod so that the fight doesnt last too long but the pedestrians get back up after being knocked out once or twice before staying on the ground longer dying i quess.
I really like the look of this.
My ideal would be to remove the kick from the combo options or change how often it occurs... it ruins the fight for me most of the time. I would also like to see cool down mods as well... to speed up the brawl, instead of constant pausing which makes it start to feel turn based.

I used https://www.diffchecker.com/diff to check file differences - there were no big chunks missing from the original file on the latest patch
I hat how punching knocks off hats and glasses. Its most frustrating in LSPDFR mod which is what i use this for. How do you make it so hats and glasses can't get knocked off?
