Installation
Place FlashlightBuddy.dll and FlashlightBuddy.ini into your "scripts" folder. You will need the latest Script Hook V and .NET Script Hook.
Controls
J - Give Existing Passenger Flashlight OR Spawn/Delete Flashlight Buddy
The controls can be edited via the .ini file.
About
The one thing that amazed me during the night were the cop patrols. They weren't no ordinary cop patrols either, the passenger cop had a flashlight which emitted a good amount of light in my face. Anyways, this mod is pretty simple, if you have an existing passenger in your car you can give them a flashlight, if not you can spawn a flashlight buddy!

@jedijosh920 As @lipskamafia said sometimes no flashlight appear on the flashlight buddy's hands while they are performing the animation of searching with the flashlight....and also sometimes they spawn with the flashlight but the light is off.
@rekram actually for me its 50/50 sometime the light is off some time its on, when i spawn it on police car its often off

@jedijosh920 but i tried it at night and in a police car .....so its not a time issue.....sometimes works but sometimes doesnt works :/
@rekram well im using a dirty srcipting method, im stealing flashlight from ped and giving to ur passenger LOL, so if it doesnt spawn just redo it :)

This is a mod request, can you replace all the ugly trucks with Volvos and Scanias? And also cool trailers. i really want to do it myself but i dont know how. If you want to find models i think you can get them from ETS 2 :)
i keep getting gang members with flash light it dont come up with cops
from what i saw in some videos this mod not allow you to select manually the model you want just spawn the npc randomly unfortunately,other thing this mod only works inside a vehicle? works on foot too?
Really good work! I like that you are focusing to get the cop npc's abilities and I have a suggestion 4 you:since the veh controller script managed to toggle the heli soptlight,can you add the ability to move it or to track a veh or ped? If you do,will be great.
@jedijosh920 is it possible to make a black light powered flashlight you can carry or wear on the scuba diving suit? :) i'm onto solving a mystery and im convinced i can see something that would be clearer with a black light.
