To Save a vehicle, simply get in the vehicle and start modifing it, if the mod is installed correctly, you will get a message saying "Persistent Rides : Save Vehicle " then the vehicles name, for a vehicle already saved by the mod, you can also exit the vehicle to save its modifications or change mods and it will update the saved location and modifications. To delete a vehicle, access the phone, and go to contacts scroll down and call the contact "Persistent Rides" and a menu will appear, there will be a submenu with all vehicles loaded, here you can select on and choose to teleport or delete the vehicle, deleting the vehicle cannot be undone!
install
1. download and Install scripthookv + Scripthookvdotnet
2. create a scripts folder (named scripts and not Scripts) if you havent got one already
3. drag PersistentRides.dll, PersistentRides.pdb and PersistentRides folder into scripts
4. Install LemonUI for SHVDN2 from the download text file in the zip folder
5. drag a Ifruitaddon2 folder and dll into scripts if you dont have it
6. Drag and drop HKHModHelperNew.dll and PDB into scripts, if you have it already make sure that your version is 6.0 or above!
7. Launch game
8. enter a vehicle and modify it and it should save

amazing mod, but there is a small issue, when I exit a saved car , and save the game then reload, the last car I got out of duplicates itself on top of the saved car. Is it just me?

@HKH191 Good day. Sorry to bother you, but I was having trouble with my FPS and, after a process of testing without mods/dll plugins, I found the culprit is Persistent Rides.
I tested in the area outside Franklin’s Vinewood home and, with PR enabled, I get 10-12 less FPS than my max (capped). Now, I realized three things:
1) If I delete all my saved vehicles except one, I get max FPS.
2) If I disable the option USESPECIFICBLIP, I get max FPS even with all my rides (19 currently).
3) When my FPS gets affected, my CPU/GPU usage goes down from around 55% to 40-45%. It seems the mod is preventing the game from using my components as it should somehow and thus the FPS drop, if that makes sense. I’m not even close to hitting 100% usage with any.So, may it be possible that some leak in the code of the mod may affect FPS? Is having too many vehicles or the option USESPECIFICBLIP too taxing for the system? Also, what is that function for? I thought I’d get the blips together in a single slot if I disabled it (like properties or races blips), but they seem to be the same.

If you save a car and then put it in your garage, for some reason it shows in the garage for all characters, not sure if this is intended, also the cars persist across all characters

@HKH191 Hello fyi. when using a tow truck it will get on but when you start driving the car falls off & will go back to the same spot that was last saved, is there any way to fix that? The tow mod works only with non-saved persistent cars. no big deal just wondering. love the mod it makes the game so much better!!

@Crayon Elmo you can set use player owned vehicle to true in the ini, to allow vehicles to only spawn by the owner

V.3 seems to have issues with remembering license plate text. But other than that it seems to be working great!

The car is saved while I'm playing, but if I close the game and open it again, the car is no longer there.

This should really be a thing you set manually. I get all kinds of issues because of modifying the personal vehicle of each character

Hello, could you please clarify this step from the instructions? Do we want the *latest* LemonUI from this year or do we want 1.5.2, the last version with SHVDN2 support (from 2021)?

I ended up just installing both as I don't think they conflict anyway.

At the moment, all my mods are being converted or have been converted to Scripthookvdotnet3, to not flood the scripts page with my mods, im only uploading 3 mods per day, leaving gaps inbetween other users mods, (I have had permission from 5mods admin to do this) as a result its going to take around a month for all my mods to be update to SHVDN3 builds on 5mods, so if you would like to get your hands on a mod of mine that has not been posted to 5mods yet, you can join my discord to get all updates to mod updated to scripthookvdotnet3, as well as Project Overthrow and The ECU Job in SP
