I actually didn't plan on sharing this mod. I created the Pigalle Cabrio for the purpose of learning and practicing for roof animation. However, it doesn't seem so bad to me, so I decided to share it.
I didn't change the textures, only the badges, nor did I change much beyond what was necessary for cabrio. So, it is very Lore Friendly.
The animation works well with LODs, in game looks fine, but in the Rockstar Editor it behaves somewhat differently, and has a bit of a glitch in some moments (Not too much).
Engine sound is Tornado2 because of animation sound. You can change it to Pigalle if you don't mind roof animation sound.
INSTALLATION:
1.Copy "milord" folder to :\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks
2. Using OpenIV, go to: \Grand Theft Auto V\\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data — find the "dlclist.xml"
and add the following line:
dlcpacks:\milord\
spawn:cars -> Coupes -> Pigalle MILORD
model name: milord
That's it, I hope you will like it.
enjoy this Vanilla Edit!

The fact it's animated makes this worth it
I sent you a bunch of options in the chat.
Lore friendly working convertibles are reaaally rare!
legitimately AMAZING!!!
Ummm a car I didn't know I needed
Very good! Improved vanilla cars with animated roof are scarce. Would it be possible to remove the front plate from the grill (since it is not realistic) or place it on the bumper? Also to change the plates to US ones? Thanks & keep it up!
love it. but an issue. the sun visor and the inside of the room have no texture and stay white. if you could fix this, it would be awesome.
I think the Pigalle is ugly, but I actually like this, I think its the new roof shape.
nice
@gorgonut You should know that the "Pigalle" is inspired by the "Citroen SM", and if you look at that car you will see that the license plate is exactly where it should be, just like on that car. It may seem unnatural to you, but it is one of the specifics of that car, and it is no coincidence that Pigalle also has it. The cabriolet version of that prestigious Citroen was called "MyLord".. hence the name for this mod.
@NajPotez Thanks for the info! I've checked the relative photos and indeed it is as you wrote it. I had in mind more the Lamborghini Espada which also has influenced the model (https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/Pigalle). But obviously it is more a Citroen SM. In the real car the grill seems to be underneath the front bumper, so the license plate could be where Pigalle has it. As I have seen in photos those cars in USA didn't have a front plate but only the back one (https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/dealer/citroen/sm/2591864.html). Also the SM had a Maserati engine thus the Lampadati brand in the game.
@gssjatt The texture for the inside of the roof is the tornado2_roof, located in the milord.ytd. You can extract it with Open IV and change the color if you want with an image editing program.
Wow, so good!
This looks really good. I have yet to try it out, but if you ever consider editing more on the car, consider fixing the various door seams so the reflections match on all the car parts. The name could also be better as you have just changed 1 letter. Pigalle Royale would probably have been a name I would have recommended. Overall good work on the car
this looks incredible, hope to see you make more lore friendly mosd in the future, good work!
Nice mod, but why dlc.rpf size is 475mb??
I like the idea, yet my only "but" is the "MILORD" badging and namesake. It's just a change of one letter and the badge doesn't say "I'm a classic luxury European convertible" at all. For the badge design, I'd recommend something handwritten-like. Otherwise, good job.
