ScriptHookV is required. (http://www.dev-c.com/gtav/scripthookv)
This mod auto-hides the radar and other HUD elements. They can be temporarily restored by pressing a configurable input or by activating the mobile phone.
Alternatively, the radar and/or HUD can be set to appear when in a vehicle, when a waypoint is set, while on a mission, or when a wanted level is high enough.
By default, the HUD is temporarily restored by the D-Pad (keyboard Z) and the radar is activated by the phone.
Bonus options:
• hide/unhide police blips
• full-map radar in interiors
• invisible crosshairs and crosshair toggle
• auto-hidden current objective text
• hidden multiplayer rank bar

Okay, seems like current phone_radar method doesn't work for me. Thanks @chinagreenelvis for sourcecode. I just simply recompiled the script using different native to detect phone. Now it works like a charm. Here's the link for everyone who has encountered the same problem (only .asi included, just replace your .asi with it, download from mega.nz). http://pastebin.com/DTS8Ufhq
pls video
@puppyshark
Phone/Radar system is great (It's just like Watch Dogs!), but I have the same problem.
Your solution work fine for me, thank you for help.
@chinagreenelvis please man i beg u, can u do the HUD And RADAR on left side of the screen i mean u totally flip the screen man.. i need hud and radar on the left side
Have the same problem with subtitles as Marcel2015. Tried to figure out what exactly is responsible for that but failed.
@puppyshark Which native did you use?
@chinagreenelvis It's IS_PED_RUNNING_MOBILE_PHONE_TASK.
Also I removed some features for my own use because one of them was making subtitles disappear sometimes. Can't remember which one exactly was causing that though. I guess it was autohide_hud.
I'm experiencing the phone_radar bug, and that's really the only feature I want (to emulate a GPS/google maps type system). @puppyshark that download link is down, @chinagreenelvis any chance you could update the download link with puppyshark's new code? As long as it doesn't interfere with anything, of course
I ended up fixing it myself.
Here's an updated link with the phone_radar bug fix:

Replace the old .asi and you should be good to go.
Does this work with FiveM?
@dev614 Fucking thank you.
@dev614 Thanks!
Couldn't get this to do anything. My HUD and radar vanished recently, I got radar back with the hideminimap toggle mod, and hoped this would get the HUD back... but sadly it didn't seem to do anything.
I wanna use this but the z isnt working.
@chinagreenelvis how to activate by phone
As I understand it, there is no way to solve the problem with the disappearance of subtitles?
Z bind isn't working currently.
Just installed it but my HUD is still there. Is there something I need to do in the settings?
no one is talking about how it hides sniper rfile aim
Would it be possible to toggle elements with some button press combo? Like you could run with always auto-hidden elements, even in missions, but certain times radar is a must and would be great to enable it for some time, and not bringing it up each minute or so.
